Open Access Week is an international event that focuses on the creation, dissemination and discussion of topics and issues that not only surround open access, but also digital scholarship, digital humanities and scholarly communication. For more information, visit SPARC’s Open Access Week site. This event is intended to initiate a discussion that promotes matters on open access and related topics in order to advance, not only our faculty and student research and scholarship, but also the mission and goals of SMU.

The Fondren Library is located on the SMU campus at 6414 Robert S. Hyer Lane, Dallas, TX 75205. A map of the Library on campus can be found here. The Foyer to the Fondren Library can be accessed via the colonnaded building at the corner of Robert S. Hyer Lane and McFarlin Blvd. All events are free and open to the public. Time allotted to speakers does not account for question and answer sessions.
